Bartosz Maciejewski
More than a decade of collaboration shaped into a digital photography archive. Images lead the experience while extensive technology remains fast and convenient in daily use.
A partnership developed continuously since 2012
PAR HOUSE Agency has worked with Bartosz Maciejewski since 2012. This long relationship created a deep understanding of his process, consecutive bodies of work and the role of personal, portrait and commercial photography. The new website uses this knowledge instead of placing the archive inside a generic template.
We designed and developed the entire platform with custom code on WordPress and ACF. Bartosz can manage galleries, collections, publications, video and content without editing code. The administration area follows the real way he organises his work.
The visual experience uses large frames, interactive galleries, subtle motion and a deliberate scrolling rhythm. Navigation remains discreet so photography can lead, while every part of the archive stays accessible on desktop and mobile.

We created a dedicated application that converts photographs to WebP. It automates the preparation of lighter files and removes repetitive manual work. New materials can preserve visual quality while galleries load significantly faster.
Controlled image variants, a limited plugin footprint and proprietary components maintain performance despite the scale of the archive. The website is prepared for mobile performance, SEO and further development without accumulating random extensions.
A Knowledge Base and Glossary create space for materials about photography, creative process and working with images. Structured content helps visitors, supports internal linking and makes the photographer's specialisms easier for search engines and AI agents to understand.

The complete digital archive of Bartosz Maciejewski
The full website presents the rhythm of galleries, movement between collections, publications and the way consecutive frames create one narrative.
Technology supports the imagery without competing with it and every element can develop through an intuitive administration area.
A portfolio that is also a daily working tool
The website is more than a presentation. It is a manageable archive and publishing platform that can grow with new collections, exhibitions, magazines, recordings and commercial projects.
Long term support preserves decision history and develops technology when a real need appears. New functions follow the photographer's process rather than a list of fashionable additions.
The result is an individual bilingual portfolio with rich interaction that remains lightweight, fast and completely editable.
