What is average CPA?
We calculate average CPA by dividing campaign cost by the number of attributed conversions. It describes the cost of a defined action. Its meaning depends on the conversion definition: submitting a form, booking and becoming a customer are different outcomes.
Measurement, billing and target CPA
Measuring CPA does not automatically mean paying only for conversions. Charges may be based on clicks or other events under the campaign terms. Target CPA guides bids toward a desired average cost; it does not guarantee the price of every action. A pay-per-conversion agreement is a separate arrangement.
Action definition and customer value
We document each event, counting condition, data source and conversion timing. An acceptable cost depends on margin, service costs, repeat purchases and customer value. A low CPA does not ensure profitability when leads are poor or orders are frequently returned.
Attribution and data quality
We compare advertising reports with analytics, CRM and sales. We check attribution windows, delays, duplicates, test orders and required consent. We do not bypass missing consent and account for measurement limitations in decisions.
How we optimize CPA
We test the offer, targeting, creative, landing page and follow-up. We separate changes and collect sufficient evidence rather than judging single conversions. Cutting the budget alone may reduce valuable customers without improving efficiency.
Our approach at PAR HOUSE Agency
We connect CPA with lead quality, margin and actual sales. We standardize events, check attribution and show the journey from advertising to CRM. We aim for profitable growth without presenting a metric or bidding strategy as a profit guarantee.
