Minimum wholesale order quantity

Quantity limits may apply to the entire order, one product or pack multiples. These are different rules and need definition before implementation.

Define the counting unit

Decide whether units, sets or packs count. Specify aggregation across variants and products. Gifts do not meet the minimum unless the rule explicitly includes them.

Explain permitted choices

Show the minimum and quantity increment. Identify the affected product or cart. Avoid an unexplained error only at checkout.

Connect the rule to stock

Do not encourage an impossible quantity when stock is insufficient. Define handling and any exception. Do not replace missing stock with invented availability.

Check every entry route

The order system enforces the rule, not only the quantity control. Test mixed carts, removals, variant changes and other supported submission channels.

Maintain the rules

Compare order size, warehouse work and abandonment reasons. Minimum or pack changes update calculation and explanation together. Keep exception history understandable.
