Keywords and search intent
A phrase is a clue, not a complete statement of intent. Someone typing a product name may want to buy it, compare versions or find instructions for an item they already own.
Collect customer language
Combine sales questions, internal searches and available query data. Include everyday descriptions of problems. Internal company terminology may be unfamiliar to the audience.
Identify the intended outcome
Decide whether a question group needs an answer, comparison, category or product. Inspect results in the relevant language, remembering that their arrangement can change.
Group by need
Close query variants may belong on one complete page. A different intention may need a separate resource. Do not create a URL just because word order changes.
Match opportunity to the offer
Popularity is insufficient without a relevant service or credible answer. Assess usefulness, the ability to create strong material and its role in the customer journey.
Maintain the topic map
After publication, check which questions the page actually answers and where new needs appear. Add missing information or change the mapping instead of continually multiplying similar pages.
